A study in equilibrium and grace, this photograph captures the iconic National Congress of Brazil, a masterpiece of modernist architecture by Oscar Niemeyer. The twin towers rise in precise symmetry above a placid reflecting pool, flanked by the curving dome of the Senate chamber and the inverted bowl of the House of Representatives. Against a serene blue sky, the composition balances monumental scale with poetic restraint, embodying Niemeyer’s vision of fluid geometry and civic harmony.
