About Me

I was born and raised in Peru, surrounded by a rich tapestry of color, architecture, and culture that shaped my earliest memories. Those early experiences sparked my love for design—and they continue to inspire everything I create.

At sixteen, I moved to the United States and later pursued a career in interior architecture. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of co-founding Britto Charette, a design studio where I’ve helped bring modern luxury to life in homes and spaces around the world.

But long before I was designing interiors, I was framing moments through a lens. Photography has always been a part of how I see and experience the world. My travels—whether for work, inspiration, or curiosity—have led me to extraordinary places, where light, form, and stillness come together in powerful ways. Through my camera, I try to capture not just what a building looks like, but how it feels.

Jay Britto Photography is my way of sharing that perspective. Each image is deeply personal—rooted in my background as a designer and my passion for storytelling through architecture. Whether it’s a quiet city corner or a bold façade bathed in shadow, my goal is the same: to create work that feels timeless, intentional, and artful.
