Photography isn’t just what I see. It’s a story, a space, a sensation.

About Me

I was born and raised in Peru, surrounded by vibrant color, architecture, and culture that continue to shape my creative vision. After moving to the United States, I pursued a career in interior design and most recently co-founded Britto Charette—a design studio where I’ve spent years bringing modern luxury to life around the world.

Before I was designing interiors, I was framing moments through a lens. Photography has always been part of how I experience the world. My travels—whether for work or curiosity—have led me to extraordinary places where light, form, and silence converge. Through my camera, I aim to capture not just what a building looks like, but how it feels.

Jay Britto Photography is my way of sharing that perspective. Each image reflects my background in design and my love for storytelling through architecture. Whether it’s a quiet city corner or a bold façade in shadow, my goal is the same: to create work that feels timeless, intentional, and artful.

Museum-quality prints, intentional craftsmanship, and a seamless experience.

    Limited Editions

All Limited Edition photographs are printed, signed, and fulfilled in-house. I oversee every step—from paper selection to hand inspection—to ensure museum-grade longevity and presentation. Editions are produced in small, exclusive runs and include my signature, embossed chop mark, and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Each work is recorded in a secure online provenance archive with private collector access.

    Open Editions

Open Editions and framed pieces are produced with my partner, Level Frames, a studio known for exceptional materials, modern profiles, and sustainable practices. Orders are printed, finished, and shipped directly from their workshop for a seamless experience. On each photo’s detail page, select your size and use the Buy It Framed button to complete purchase on their site. They also handle fulfillment.

My Symbol of Provenance

Every Limited Edition print I release is hand-inspected, signed, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Embossed into each print is my personal chop mark—a Peruvian symbol I also wear as a tattoo. It’s not a logo, but a deeply personal emblem of authenticity.

This symbol of provenance connects each piece to me directly. A quiet mark of origin, crafted to remind you: this print passed through my hands, and carries a part of my story.

My Guarantee

I stand behind the quality of every piece I create.

All Limited Edition prints are professionally printed on museum-grade archival paper, inspected by hand, and signed before delivery. I guarantee the quality, condition, and authenticity of each piece.

For all Open Editions and framing, I partner with Level Frames—a trusted high quality framer that offers a 100% Happiness Guarantee. Picked by The New York Times Wirecutter as one of the Best Online Framing Services, if you're not completely satisfied with your framed artwork, they’ll work with you to make it right.

Whether the work is directly from my studio or through my framing partner, your satisfaction matters. If something isn’t right, I’ll do my best to make it so.

Why don’t you offer framing for Limited Editions?

To preserve the integrity and value of each Limited Edition print, I release them unframed. This ensures that:

    • Collectors and designers maintain control over the final presentation, choosing frames and finishes that best suit their space.

    • Archival standards are protected, as professional framers can use museum-quality materials specific to the client’s needs.

    • The artwork’s authenticity is clear, with each print signed, numbered, and embossed directly on the paper rather than hidden behind glass or matting.

By offering Limited Editions unframed, I give you the freedom to collaborate with your preferred framer while ensuring the work retains its value and provenance.
